Book Trash Panda for your Recoverable Waste
Disposing our waste properly is a challenge. Most of our wastes, tons of them, go directly to our landfills.
In our family, we invested and bring our own re-usables – utensils when we eat out (pre-pandemic), and water bottles. It’s one way to avoid using disposable spoon, forks and PET bottles.
I saw Trash Panda: An On-Demand Recoverable Waste Collection App while browsing the web and thinking that we have recyclables we throw out in the trash, may be we can start using it for our papers, boxes, beverage cartons, and cans.
Here are the Steps to Book Trash Panda
Step 1: Download the Trash Panda app: https://tinyurl.com/TPforAndroid
Step 2: Prepare your recyclables.
Segregate your recyclables properly. Make sure your discarded recyclables are empty, clean, and dry.
Step 3: Books a collection.
Open your Trash Panda app and click ‘Book now’. Pick a date of collection. Fill-out the booking form
Step 4: Wait for the collector.
Be ready with your clean and segregated recyclable waste on the scheduled collection day! The Trash Panda collector will weigh and records the recyclable waste upon arrival.
There will be a reminder the day before the scheduled collection day through your email and other contact details. You can check the status and location of the collector through the Trash Panda app.
Step 5: Track where your recyclables will go.
Trash Panda will let you know where your waste is going and it is not to the landfills, dumpsites, rivers or seas! The collection details to you through email.

Collection services are currently available in Metro Manila (Makati, Mandaluyong, Manila, Marikina, Paranaque, Pasay, Pasig, San Juan, Taguig) and Rizal (Cainta).
