Bohol Bee Farm (located in Dao, Dauis) is one of our stops when we went to Panglao island in Bohol.
The Bee Farm is popular with their ice creams, baked goods and organic products. Ofcourse we have to come visit to try the healthy delights rarely offered in the market.
They serve hand-picked edible flowers and fresh garden salads, or on roasted chicken glazed with honey, or on delectable pasta garnished with home-grown herbs. This restaurant is unique because all ingredients are organic (no fertilizers, pesticides, or similarly harmful chemicals for growing) and no preservatives are added on your food!
They offer complimentary squash loaf bread with mango and pesto spreads. Yep, free! We had honey-glazed chicken meal, grilled fish, and Herb Pasta. We also tried the lemon grass juice.
Ofcourse, we have to eat the ever famous ice cream! When you order, go for the double scoop serving!
And because we enjoyed the food so much, we have to come to the Buzzz Cafe along Alona beach to eat some more, and more servings of ice cream.
Bohol Bee Farm and The Buzzz Cafe offers healthy and delicious dishes (all plated to impress!), with a good dining experience. We love the cozy atmosphere of the place.

At the tour of the farm, you will be introduced to some herbs, edible flowers, and vegetables and you will be surprised with their health benefits and other uses. The farm practices organic farming – no costly conventional fertilizers or use of harmful pesticides.
They also showcase the different handicrafts that they taught their staff can do in tandem with farming. They also showcase the production of the baked goods and other products they sell and serve at their cafes.
You might expect so many bee colonies when you come, well because it’s named a bee farm but manage your expectations. They do have some bees there for tour purposes only. Bees are kept away from the stress and are housed at a different place, outside of the farm, to increase the chances for a strong and productive colony.
