This new site is keeping the mister busy, on top of his race organizing events and managing Takbo.ph.

As we have officially enrolled our son Gab to a homeschooling provider this year, this new site will contain all our homeschooling related activities, ideas and some good reads.

For now, we will mostly concentrate on Filipino as that’s one of the challenges we have teaching. Yes, it’s not Math or Science for us but Filipino (for the time being, hahaha).

We speak English and Hiligaynon, often referred to as Ilonggo, at home and Gab, at 4, can converse very well with these languages. We want him to learn Filipino in a fun way so we are on the look out for interesting activities to teach him the language.

We hope to build the site as a community for fellow parents, homeschooling or not. We are looking forward to working with parents, teachers, and experts on different fields so we can share more interesting articles at the site.

The Filipino Homeschooler site will grow with us as we learn new and fun things everyday with our son.

If you know books or events that can be a source for parents to help teaching our kids, or fun activities for learning, please let us know as well. We hope to connect with families that are homeschooling in the Philippines.
