Parks and playgrounds are our go-to places whether to run, play, ride a bike, or just spreading the mat to hang out for a picnic. When we are out of the house, instead of the malls, you will most likely see us outdoors. We were happy that Gab loves the outdoors, even if it means playing under the scorching hot, blazing sun.

The Johnson’s Baby Active Fresh Shadow Playground was built to encourage parents to let their children to play outdoors. It is not the normal playground with typical slides, seesaws and swings. The shadow play ground has special disks that were positioned under the sun to cast shadows for the different games.

After decoding the message on the package, Gab and I were excited to join the launch and to see how the shadow playground would look like. I remember when Gab was a little over a year and he was so amazed when he discovered his own shadow. There was even a time when all of our flashlight batteries ran out because he’s playing with it to cast shadows of his toys. Learning about the sun, the light and shadows is an easy interactive activity for kids.

There are of the five disks of Johnson’s Baby Active Fresh Shadow Playground games cast by the sun from “Maze” that  teaches children strategy, “Froggy Jump” that teaches children concentration, “Hopscotch” that teaches children coordination, “Snakes and Ladders” that teaches children teamwork and “Flamingo” that teaches children balance.

Attended by mom bloggers, the playground also introduced Johnson & Johnson’s Baby Active Fresh line developed to allow children more fun time under the sun. The Active Fresh technology works to absorb sweat to keep the active little ones stay fresh and smells irresistible all day long.

The Johnson’s Baby Active Fresh Shadow Playground is located at the Market! Market! Playzone, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. This is a new place for moms and dads to take their kids for free.  Just remember, to put sunblock to give you and your child’s delicate skin added protection from the sun.
