Home in Malaysia: Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral Hotel

Our family decided to went to Malaysia for a family holiday to celebrate the mister’s birthday. We went to Kuala Lumpur since we want to see the stunning Petronas Twin Towers and explore Sunway Lagoon.

Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral Hotel was our home in Kuala Lumpur. The hotel is connected via a bridge way to NU Mall and KL Sentral, which is a hub for different transportations – KLIA Express (airport trains), MRT, LRT, Monorail and Bus Services. No need to go out of the hotel to cross the street!

We left Capsule Hotel in KLIA 2 about lunch time and went straight to Aloft to leave our luggage bags since check in time is at 3pm. We went to the connected mall to grab some snacks and for Gab’s durian Challenge.

When we went back at 3, our requested room was not ready yet. Since we need to rest and freshen up before heading to our next stop, they offered us a temporary room.

Room

This is our room. We booked the Urban Room with 2 separate beds. We just love spacious rooms with big beds and many soft pillows! The room they provided is way better! It is a corner room with a city view. Gab loves it as he can spot different cars and even the trains passing by.

The room has a couch, a work space desk with charging docks for gadgets, and a separate table for coffee/tea making facilities and the minibar items. The room has a large en-suite bath with Aloft customized toiletries.

Pool and Other Hotel Amenities

Aloft has an infinity pool. It also has a kiddie wadding pool.

They have a lounge and game area by the hotel lobby where you can play Foosball, billiards and Xbox games. They also have a fitness center for those who want to workout during their stay. There are several restaurants where they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We love Aloft Hotel and if ever we come back to Kuala Lumpur, this is definitely one hotel to consider. Aloft KL is part of the Marriot Hotel Group.
