Buying organic produce and products is now way easier. Though they are now available in some supermarkets, we now have more shops carrying them and more choices.

Here are the must go-to places to buy organic products in Makati:

Legazpi and Salcedo Markets

Salacedo Market is open on Saturdays while Legazpi Market is open on Sundays. Both market have a wide variety of fresh produce and organic products to choose from. Before or after you shop, you can eat breakfast, brunch or lunch as the markets also offer good food in a variety of cuisines until about 1pm.  You can also see different interesting products from local sellers. Food, to potted plants, some ready-to-wears, home decors, household materials and paper and leather products are also available.  Vegans and Vegetarians will absolutely love shopping here as there are a lot of options.

We frequent Legaspi after a Sunday run or play at the park.

Salcedo Saturday Market is located at Jaime C. Velasquez Park, Salcedo Village. Legaspi Sunday Market is at Herrera st. cor Legazpi and Salcedo, V.A. Rufino St, Legazpi Village, Makati (just a few blocks away from Greenbelt 1).

Down to Earth

I’m so happy to discover this farm shop in the neighborhood. They sell farm-raised, grass-fed, no-gmo, no-hormone meats. They also have organic eggs, and wild caught spanish style sardines. Their products can also be found in the Saturday and Sunday Markets in Makati.

Down to Earth is located in Makati Curb, Yakal St, just across Linear Makati. They offer delivery services which I think is great for shoppers who want to have their goods delivered right at their door steps.

Satinka Naturals

I first came here to dine out with a friend. They serve freshly cooked meals –  vegan and vegetarian-friendly dishes using organic vegetables from the Cordillera region. They have fresh produce in the store, some botanical plants and herbs, and also offers homepathic medicines. Satinka Naturals is in Pason Tamo St cor Kamagong St in Makati.

ECHO Store

ECHO (Environment and Community Hope Organization) Store is located in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. They sell body and home products, fresh and organic produce, meals and some Malagos chocolates! ECHOstore holds the shared vision of many like-minded people who advocate to nurture and sustain the Self, the Community, and the Planet.
