This is one of our places to visit when we planed for our Taiwan trip last January. Well, it’s because Gab loves Lego and when we know there’s a cafe that’s Lego themed, we included it in our itinerary.
Brick Works is a little Lego cafe at the Expo Park, located near the Maji Square Food Court. The cafe serves lego themed cupcakes, a waffle shaped like a lego person, small pizzas, and a few rice dishes.
We got the Lego waffle that comes with an ice cream, a chicken curry meal and a pizza with mashed potato on the side. Swipe to see the photos.
There are also lego bricks and toys available for play on each table.
They have a designated play area in the corner of the cafe where kids can play while they wait for their food to be served and/or after they are done eating. A lego movie is also playing on the tv by the play area. We stayed long here, because Gab had fun time building and playing with other kids.
Lego sets and individual lego pieces are available for purchase. They also display lego sculptures around the cafe.
Brick Works Cafe is located in No. 1, Yumen St, Zhongshan District, Taipei City. They open from 12noon to 9 PM, Mon, Wed-Fri/ 12noon to 4 PM Tues / 11am to 9pm Sat-Sun. This is accessible via the MRT Red Line, Yuanshan Station.
You can also visit attractions such as Taipei Fine Arts Museum and Taipei Story House when you are already here in Taipei Expo Park.
